Report on ROCKLINE From A.Babcock Note: (They were SOLO ACOUSTIC pieces - Lorraine) *Gracias*
Chris Hillman and Herb Pederson in Alexandria, VA From Tim Ryan who went to the show: "Chris Hillman and Herb Pederson out promoting their new CD " Way Out West". The set was made up of new music from Hillman - Pederson, The Desert Rose Band, Manassas, and The Byrds. Hillman introduced many of the songs with stories about the talented people and bands he has played in from Byrds with David Crosby, Manassas with Stephen Stills and Gram Parsons Project, it was great nite of music with lots of music history. The set list included "So Begins the Task" as recorded with Tony Rice Unit, "It Doesn't Matter" from Manassas and a very cool "Turn, Turn" from the Byrds. They both played and sang great, nice nite for the show, really enjoyed it."
