BEST QUOTE:
Stephen Stills:
I got a whole album I just finished, so I want to run the flag
with this bunch to see
how these songs work with [these guys].
So, there'll be some stuff [in the set] that hasn't even been
released.
Graham Nash: And that would be the case with me, also. There's a lot of new
music . . .
we're not lying around doing nothing here. We're musicians and
we have no choice in the matter.

Stephen on JIM LADD's Living Room Aug 2001

Rolling Stone Issue #888 - January 31st, 2002
"Neil and I still have
the original dynamic that we discovered in each other back when
the cosmos
were closer together," Stills says. "We've still got that spark,
and we still
ignite it in each other. The first time we got together again
and played
'Cinnamon Girl,' I knew that we were there. The trick is to count
it off at
the same tempo every night," he adds with a laugh, "and about
once a week
Neil would count it off and it would not be the same - things
like that just
keep it fun."

A&E Biography - Buddy Holly December 2001
On Monday, December 3, A&E Biography will chronicle the life of
Buddy
Holly, Lubbock's famous native son.
The program will include interviews with Maria Elena Holly, Buddy
Holly's widow, Waylon Jennings, Phil Everly, and Keith Richards
of
the Rolling Stones. Dion DiMucci, whose band Dion and the Belmonts
had a hit with the 1950's recording A Teenager in Love, was a
member
of the Winter Dance Party Tour of 1959 with Buddy Holly just before
his untimely death and is expected to speak about his experience
with
Buddy. Graham Nash, originally of The Hollies, a band named after
Buddy that made its debut during the "British Invasion" of Rock
and
Roll in the 1960s and later of Crosby, Stills and Nash, was also
interviewed by A&E Biography.
The documentary will present never before shown clips of Buddy
Holly
from a home movie, as well as actual footage of Norman and Vi
Petty
of Clovis, New Mexico.
This summer, film crews from A&E Biography visited Lubbock, Buddy's
hometown, to gather video footage and information on one of the
Rock
and Roll pioneers of the 1950's. The biographical sketch of Buddy's
short but significant career will include footage shot at the
Buddy
Holly Center in September 2001. Interviews with members of Buddy's
family were filmed in Lubbock during Not Fade Away: The Life and
Times of Buddy Holly, an annual symposium exploring the roots
and
continuing impact of Rock and Roll music, sponsored in part by
the
Buddy Holly Center.
